Well, I play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on PS2 and sometime while it’s loading (showing the color pics of random people with the load bar at the bottom) it just won’t load. It stops at the first slide and doesn’t continue. I take out the disc, clean it, and put it back in. It takes 40-50 tries to get it to work. Is there an easier way to fix it!?!

Weird, is there any really bad scratches on the disc?
If so, try using a scratch cleaner.
OMG!!! why do you play old games..Stop playing ps2 its old its a piece of crap just wait for the ps3 or go and buy our self an xbox 360 which you should have done along time ago
dude a lil bit above me that recommended getting a 360, shut up. 360’s are piles of crap.
now with that said. i had the same problem with vice city. mine i bought used. so i returned it. they gave me another one. worked for me. so you could try trading it into like gamestop. then buying a used copy and seeing if that works.
ALSO, try removing the memory card. maybe its your saved game. if the game works fine without the memory card, get a second one, and see if you can play through a little bit of the story again saving onto a different memory card.
